THG Fluently is currently looking for UK-based freelance Slovak interpreters to support a growing volume of Remote OnDemand telephone interpreting assignments. This opportunity is particularly suitable for interpreters who are comfortable with flexible, real-time telephone interpreting and are available to receive and accept calls during daytime hours.

About the role:

  • Remote telephone interpreting (OnDemand / unplanned calls)
  • Flexible freelance arrangement
  • Calls handled remotely via our interpreting platform/app
  • Primarily community and public sector interpreting
  • Opportunity to combine with pre-booked assignments where available

We are especially interested in interpreters who:

  • are responsive and reliable during working hours;
  • are comfortable handling unscheduled telephone assignments;
  • can maintain professional standards in fast-paced interpreting scenarios;
  • are based in the UK and have the right to work as self-employed freelancers.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Slovak
  • Previous interpreting experience preferred
  • Access to a stable internet connection and suitable phone/device
