This is a great opportunity to join a small but growing business with the support of a National Brand and collaborative network. This role would suit somebody already experienced as a Drainage Engineer with the desire to expand on their existing skill set. We pride ourselves on delivering a world class service to all of our customers. Our work changes from day to day, you may be doing unblocks, a CCTV survey, installing a new sewage treatment plant or grease trap. We need someone who is willing to work on a range of jobs, we solve issues for our customers and need someone who is going to find the cause not just clear the blockage.
We offer good rates of performance related pay and an opportunity to develop and progress as the business grows. A great attitude to work, customer service skills and dedication are really important when working with us. We work across Maidstone, Medway, Isle of Sheppey and Faversham.
Essential requirements:- 2 years drainage experience working in a similar role advantageous
- Basic plumbing experience advantageous
- Ongoing training (internal and external)
- Good attitude to work – regardless of time of day or weather conditions
- Excellent customer service skills – delivering world class service
- Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in an organised and tidy manner
- Hold a current UK Driving licence
- Will require a clean DBS check
- Being a trusted partner for all preventative maintenance and remedial work requirements for everything plumbing and drainage for both commercial and domestic clients
- Drainage – blockages, leaking waste pipes, SVP replacements, CCTV camera inspections and surveys, drainage excavations and repairs
- Relining and patch fibreglass repairs
- Pumping station maintenance and septic tanks/treatment plants
- Toilet repairs, tap replacements, leaks and general reactive maintenance
- Basic pay of £30,000 with ability to earn £40,000+ with bonus scheme and overtime
- 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays
- Pension after 3 months
- Uniform, fully equipped van, tablet, mobile phone and lots of job-related training
