Help fix customer-centricity at scale. At TheyDo, we help the world’s largest enterprises align around what matters most: their customers.
About The Role
The Business Development Representative is a high‑impact, high‑accountability role on the European team. You are often the very first impression a prospective customer has of TheyDo, generating out‑bound pipeline for our enterprise accounts. You will partner closely with 4‑6 Account Executives, crafting targeted outreach and booking high‑quality discovery meetings that are valuable for the AEs. By focusing exclusively on outbound, you will identify the right accounts, build personalized outreach, and book discovery meetings that AEs can immediately act on. Your role is also a marketing function—every touchpoint contributes to how the world sees TheyDo.
What You’ll Do
- Generate Qualified Outbound Pipeline: Map target accounts, build cold opportunities from scratch, and pursue outbound-first with intention and precision.
- Partner with 4‑6 Account Executives: Align on account prioritization, share intelligence, and co‑develop outreach strategies.
- Own Multi‑Channel, Multi‑Threading Outreach: Run customized campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels, reaching decision‑makers at all levels.
- Be on the Phone Daily: Cold calling is central—create rapport and turn cold prospects into warm opportunities.
- Think Like a Marketer: Bring creativity and voice to outreach, shaping brand perception.
- Use AI to Work Smarter and Faster: Leverage AI tools for research, personalization, sequencing, and automation.
- Identify, Qualify, and Develop the Right Accounts: Make judgment on account selection, nurture longer‑cycle opportunities, and keep pipeline flowing.
- Surface Intelligence and Keep CRM Clean: Log activity, provide insights, and contribute to our outbound playbook refinement.
What We’re Looking For
- Hunger and drive: Motivated by results and energized by building something from the ground up.
- Resilience: Rejection doesn’t derail you; it sharpens you.
- Strong time management: Manage a full book of accounts, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute consistently.
- Excellent communication skills: Adapt style to any audience, both written and verbal.
- Multi‑channel and multi-threading instincts: Think in campaigns, not single touches.
- AI curiosity: Eager to experiment with tools and workflows that improve effectiveness.
- Collaborative spirit: Build trust and partnership with AEs of all styles.
- Startup mentality: Comfortable with ambiguity, driven to shape outcomes without fixed instructions.
Why You Shouldn’t Apply
- You prefer inbound leads or structured playbooks handed to you.
- You’re uncomfortable with cold outreach or daily calling.
