We are seeking an experienced Community and Events Fundraiser to help generate the income required to enable us to continue our amazing services. If you are passionate about engaging and inspiring supporters to raise funds through community fundraising activities, challenges and events, we would welcome your application.

About the role:

  • Leading on the delivery and implementation of our community and events streams to reach our income targets.
  • Proactively seeking out new supporters, stewarding existing donor relationships and following up on prospects.
  • Securing and undertaking speaking engagements to raise awareness and funds for The Yard.
  • Leading by example; sharing your energy, knowledge, ideas and insights to inspire confidence and drive forward the development of our income streams.

This job is for you if you have:

  • Proven experience working within a fundraising or equivalent role.
  • Had significant success in managing and growing income for community and events to meet financial targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive can-do attitude and a friendly, approachable manner.

This post offers hybrid working. You will be expected to work from the office 2 days per week. We have offices based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

Closing date: Tuesday 17th February at 9am. We’ll acknowledge all applications and intend to hold interviews on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th February.
