As Family Worker you will provide information, emotional and practical support to families with children with a wide range of support needs, empowering them to understand and access the support available to them from external services.

  • a strong understanding of the needs of families who have children with a disability or additional support needs
  • knowledge of children’s rights, trauma informed and inclusive practices
  • excellent relationship building skills
  • an understanding of child and adult protection practices
