Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Trainee Account Manager to join our growing team.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in account management within the hospitality and events industry.
You will provide vital support to our Account Managers with administrative tasks and on-site operations, gradually taking responsibility for managing smaller client accounts.
The goal is for you to become a fully-fledged Regional Account Manager within approximately 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Account Managers with day-to-day client administration, including scheduling, data management and reporting.
- Provide on-site support at events, ensuring smooth staff check-ins, operational logistics and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and resolve any queries.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s services, policies and operational processes.
- Support the implementation of service improvements and client feedback initiatives.
- Gradually manage smaller client accounts, building relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Skills and Experience
- A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- A keen interest in the events and hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferred but not essential).
- Must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive.
- A willingness to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as and when needed.
