Hours: 10 hours per week, 13.15 – 15.15 pm Monday to Friday, term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks)

Salary: Grade 13, £24,796 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £5,764.29 p.a.)

The Role:

We are looking to appoint a care assistant to work with a number of children with complex SEN/D needs. The successful candidate will be working with a strong and supportive team who specialise in meeting the needs of children with social and communication difficulties. We have developed three alternative learning areas within the school and the children move between these and the mainstream classrooms.

The successful candidate will:

  • Physically fit due to the manual handling needed.

Fluency Duty: This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
