Murphy is recruiting for a Resourcing Business Partner, based at Stone Cross - WA3 3JD.

A day in the life of a Murphy Resourcing Business Partner:

  • Organise and attend regular meetings with hiring managers, key stakeholders and People Business Partners within the assigned Business Units(s) to ensure workforce analysis and resource planning is effective and that there are regular reviews of vacancy progress and upcoming requirements.
  • Meet the hiring manager to take the brief and raise the requisition on the internal ATS.
  • Proactive direct sourcing, direct advertising, head-hunting, talent pipelining along with use and creation of candidate pools.
  • Provide regular reports/updates to the Senior Resourcing Business Partner on recruitment performance.
  • Maintain full recruitment cycle from sourcing through to onboarding.
  • Manage the offer process personally when the hiring decision is made.
  • Communicate acceptance and initiate full onboarding processes.
  • Ensure the careers website and vacancy websites are always up to date and worded inclusively.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Recruitment Partner on special projects, including major project resourcing.
  • Provide training to hiring managers on recruitment, interviewing and selection.
  • Ensure resourcing contributes strategically and aligns to commercial business goals.
  • Attend relevant seminars and courses to ensure continual personal and professional development, including legislation changes and employment law.

Qualifications:

  • Proven in-house recruitment experience, managing a busy varied desk across multiple disciplines, ideally from construction or engineering.
  • Comprehensive track record managing recruitment cycles from start to finish, including contracts and onboarding issues.
  • Ability to conduct workforce analysis and resource planning with regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Previous exposure to managing internal talent and succession plans.
  • Pro-active, can-do approach with passion for finding top talent.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Versatile, creative and innovative mindset in marketing approaches.
  • Experience coaching and developing managers and senior managers in recruitment methods and best practice.
  • Ability to drive.
