What you will be doing
- 11kv Substation inspections and maintenance for over 340 Murphy HV assets. This will include inspecting the physical substation, checking the transformer and associated HV/LV equipment, completing a report, with images back to MUA and overseeing any arising actions.
- Supporting the installation of power cable joints and terminations when needed.
- Recognising and promoting best practices and innovation.
- Maintaining and ensuring the safety of all issued company property, including PAT and calibration testing.
- Travelling across various sites midlands β southern regions
- Murphy will authorise the person and provide them substation entry qualification.
Who weβre looking for:
- Experience in cable jointing on LV/HV/EHV networks.
- 2391 testing and inspection
- Authorised Person – Advantageous
- Basic operational knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems.
- A willingness to potentially progress into a HV and LV SAP in the future.
- DNO Authorisation
- Willing to travel / Lodge
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- HV/LV switching experience.
