You’ll be joining our experienced UK Business Development team, which continues to grow. The team is focused on expanding our presence across the UK agency landscape, combining deep industry expertise with a collaborative, energetic culture, and is passionate about helping our agency partners unlock the full value of our platform.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a door-opener for new opportunities by pitching to clients (agency side) the value we can offer across different channels and diversifying our offering.
- Become an expert in our solution set, market differentiators, and platform.
- Build and own relationships with the Planning and Activation teams at our agency clients.
- Identify and close up-sell opportunities within existing agency accounts, driving net new revenue generation.
- Communicate the value of The Trade Desk media buying platform through detailed product demonstrations.
- Understand The Trade Desk's competitive differentiators in a dynamic online advertising landscape.
- Work with the product team to share customer insights that help shape our product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with your internal team, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to grow accounts together.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in online advertising, particularly in consulting and/or sales/business development, with experience managing the full sales cycle across multiple partners.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
- Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles, preferably at HoldCo agencies.
- A natural relationship-builder, skilled at building connections with key stakeholders and technology decision-makers at agencies/ad networks from scratch.
- Skilled at identifying potential new clients and organising client meetings.
- A self-starter, able to tackle new clients or territories with minimal guidance.
- Curious and a quick learner, able to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes.
- Energetic and enthusiastic, bringing positive momentum to the team.
- A natural collaborator, thrives working closely with an internal team as well as cross-functionally to grow accounts.
