Here at The Trade Desk, we are in search of a Sales Development Representative to work full‑time and join our growing sales team! This position is vital for driving outbound demand in the EMEA region.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Effectively construct and execute outbound outreach to a defined prospect list
- Execute outbound prospecting initiatives
- Conduct high‑level intro conversations: listen and understand each prospect’s individual goals and challenges, accurately assess customer needs and issues to recommend appropriate features, benefits, and value of TTD
- Spend several hours a day on the phone with prospective clients
- Personally responsible for meeting monthly individual goals and job SLAs
- Work closely with Growth Team Sales and Marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance, improve lead qualification, and lead scoring
- Help manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce and other CRM tools
- Determine the appropriate business approach for potential clients
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant business development experience
- Comfort and confidence with cold calling and sending outbound emails every day
- Ability to promote/sell ideas persuasively
- Complex problem‑solving skills, uncovering client challenges and making thoughtful recommendations
- Interest in learning the ins and outs of Business Development at a technology company and building a successful career in sales
- Previous advertising technology experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as be a productive team member
- Fundamental understanding of the sales process
- Experience with Salesforce or internal CRM tools a plus, but not required
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (customer success, talent, legal, finance, marketing, operations, etc.)
