Overview of the PM Role
At TheTin, Project Managers sit at the heart of how we make work happen. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-channel brand and marketing projects. The role combines project ownership, client partnership, stakeholder management, cross-functional team leadership, and financial management to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery. You will be a key driver of operational excellence and help shape workflows, champion best practices, and support more junior team members, while staying flexible enough to adapt to how our teams work best.
Key responsibilities
- Project leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of brand strategy, campaign, digital, and content projects from briefing through to final execution.
- Define scopes, timelines, resourcing plans, and workflows; manage full project documentation.
- Facilitate project kick-offs, status meetings, and reviews.
- Identify and manage risks, propose and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all outputs meet the brief, align to brand guidelines, and maintain the level of craft for which TheTin is known.
- Client partnership
- Act as a trusted day-to-day contact, building open and collaborative client relationships.
- Guide clients through the delivery process, timelines, and scope boundaries, setting expectations and protecting the team’s time and focus.
- Translate client needs into actionable briefs and clear team direction.
- Present proposals, project plans, budgets, and reports with confidence.
- Team collaboration and leadership
- Bring together multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, performance, and development, ensuring aligned and efficient delivery.
- Give teams the structure, role clarity, and support needed to stay motivated, focused and informed.
- Help shape and nurture a healthy, collaborative project culture.
- Commercial acumen
- Be fully accountable for your project budgets: forecast, track, and report on financial performance throughout delivery.
- Forecast resource needs in collaboration with Head of Delivery and function leads.
- Monitor profitability, scope creep, and change requests; negotiate incremental fees as needed.
- Report on project status, budget, and performance internally and to clients.
- Process and quality
- Champion TheTin’s delivery standards and contribute to improving tools, templates, and workflows that drive consistency across teams.
- Support continuous improvement across the project management team.
- Quality check outputs and deliverables before client delivery and ensure compliance with client brand guidelines and specifications and industry best practice.
- Mentorship
- Mentor and support fellow project managers.
- Share knowledge, provide feedback, and help uplift best-practice delivery capability across the agency.

Requirements
What You Bring
- 10+ years in project or programme management within brand, creative, or integrated marketing agencies.
- Proven track record delivering multifaceted brand-led projects across multiple markets such as: brand strategy, brand refreshes, brand campaigns, and content production (video, social content, experiential, OOH).
- Comfortable steering cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Stakeholder communication and management to C-Suite level.
Skills and attributes
- Strong scoping, planning, organisational, and risk management skills.
- Strong experience with common delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
- Confident communicator, able to manage expectations and navigate sensitive conversations.
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence client decisions.
- Naturally collaborative; able to manage different personalities and disciplines.
- Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in common project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, JIRA, etc.).
- Proficiency in defining and documenting project process workflows with diagramming tools.
- Proficiency in creating and presenting decks to C-Suite level.
Desirable Extras
- Understanding of digital development processes.
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns.
- Graduate degree from an accredited university.
- Accreditation (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is beneficial but not essential.
Next steps and interview process
Successful candidates can expect the following interview process:
- Initial call with our Senior Operations Manager and a Senior Project Manager.
- A 1-1.5hr interview with the Head of Delivery and a Senior Project Manager where a short presentation task will take place. You will be given at least 3-days notice in preparation for this interview.
- A final call with the Head of Delivery and CEO.
Starting Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per year, dependent on location and experience.

- Remote First: We support our staff to work wherever they want in the UK, and after passing probation we support short stints of remote work abroad. We don’t require staff to come in regularly to the office, only for staff or client events.
- Share Scheme: We operate a share scheme for all current members of staff that are with us for over a year.
- Holiday: 20 days plus a day for every year you work up to 25 days, plus Bank Holidays, and a shutdown in between Christmas and New Year.
- Bonus pot: Our staff are eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus scheme based on our annual targets.
- Enhanced Parental Leave: Eligible employees on Maternity Leave receive full pay for 12 weeks. For Paternity Leave, we give full pay for 4 weeks.
