The Students' Union Activities team are looking for Administrators to support Arts Community, Societies, Fundraising and Volunteering teams.
This role involves administration for these different areas of the SU activities team.
Administrators will work closely with the SU Activities Team in the SU office located in The Edge. The role may involve all or some of the following:
- Making bookings in The Edge for student groups and individuals and dealing with access needs.
- Managing student group equipment hire and storage, liaising with Facilities as required.
- Reviewing and approving student group event planners, including risk assessments, external speakers and finance forms.
- Website administration such as creating online products and setting up event pages.
- Managing shared inboxes and communicating effectively with the SU Activities Team.
- Attending and taking minutes at Activities meeting and forums.
- Supporting with the set up and running of various events and activities.
- Assisting with day trip bookings, leading day trips and trip administration.
- Dealing with general enquiries in the office.
This position would be ideal for anyone looking for some casual work on campus, with an interest in the student experience.
The role is offered mainly on campus Monday-Friday, with various shifts available (this may include occasional evening and weekend work to support events).
