Details:

  • To provide Voice student leaders with support and improve the SU’s ability to represent students across the University.
  • Facilitating student leadership, working with our team to provide tools and training to achieve a fully student‑led system.
  • Improving our institutional knowledge of student issues, providing students with the resources to reimagine student experience at an institution and sector level.
  • Enhancing the representation system in line with student views, improving the ability of students to form communities, work with Officers, and advocate for change.
  • Providing “front of house” support to Voice student leaders, acting as a first point of contact at meetings and via the Voice inbox.
  • Researching best‑practice across the Higher Education sector, working with SU Bath and our partners in the sector to build a best‑in‑sector system at Bath.
  • Supporting Voice student leaders on a full range of projects, from resolving smaller and specific concerns to projects around sustainability, liberation, and student rights.
  • Working with Officers to identify trends and elevate issues within University structures, ensuring the Union can respond effectively to student concerns.

Location: This role will mostly be based in 1 East (Claverton Down campus) or other locations on campus. There may be the option to work from home for specific tasks (by prior agreement from line manager).
