We are looking for a Graduation Ceremony Assistant to provide on-site support to our robing team at our University of Bath ceremonies. As a Ceremony Assistant you will work as part of a larger team to pick ideal sized attire for students, correctly dress the students in their graduation wear and neatly fold all academic dress returns ready to be reinstated into the warehouse. For this role, a strong work ethic is required, along with team working skills as you will be working in a close-knit team to achieve a common goal; providing the most efficient graduation event.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete any pre-event training guides and video training
- Accurately select Student Academic Dress
- Ensure quality of dress prior to handover
- Work as an effective, active team member to achieve common goals of the ceremony
- Converse with and reassure nervous students, helping them relax and enjoy their day
- Robe Graduates ready for photography
- Fold, Label and Organise Returns for Return to the Warehouse
- Proactively Support for additional tasks where necessary
