Role
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Funds team at Entrepreneurs First. This team is responsible for driving EF’s follow‑on investments in portfolio companies, owning relationships with founders, monitoring the portfolio, and supporting EF’s fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Execution: Pre‑emptively engage companies raising capital, lead the preparation of detailed investment memos, and drive due diligence processes, including financial modeling and market analysis.
- Portfolio Monitoring & Fund Management: Develop insights from portfolio data, support quarterly valuations, and drive cross‑team initiatives like sector deep‑dives.
- Investor and Founder Relations: Own relationships with a wide set of EF portfolio founders, building trust and providing support. Support the preparation of LP investor materials.
- Leadership & Team Management: Line‑manage and develop junior investment team members, ensuring they are supported and challenged.
About You
Experience: You have significant experience in venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, or a high‑growth startup environment, with evidence of leading due diligence processes.
Skills: You possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills and excel at translating complex ideas into simple, persuasive narratives.
Mindset: You have strong commercial judgment, take ownership, drive your work forward, and set a high bar for pace and excellence. You are detail‑oriented and highly organized.
