As an Omakase Chef de Partie, you will play an integral role within our Omakase kitchen, working alongside experienced chefs to deliver a truly world-class dining experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef with a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine, outstanding technical ability and exceptional attention to detail. Working in a live kitchen environment, you will help prepare and present beautifully executed dishes while maintaining the highest standards of consistency, craftsmanship and guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present dishes for the Omakase tasting menu with exceptional precision and consistency.
- Support the smooth delivery of every Omakase service from preparation through to completion.
- Handle premium seasonal ingredients with care, respect and minimal waste.
- Maintain exceptional standards of mise en place, cleanliness and organisation throughout service.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with company specifications and presentation standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
- Contribute to a positive, professional and supportive kitchen culture.
To succeed as our Omakase Chef de Partie, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an accomplished Demi Chef de Partie within a premium Japanese, sushi or Omakase restaurant.
- Excellent knowledge of Japanese ingredients, knife skills and traditional preparation techniques.
- A genuine passion for Omakase dining and Japanese culinary culture.
- Outstanding attention to detail and pride in producing beautifully presented dishes.
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A desire to continually learn, develop and progress your culinary career.
