Los Mochis London City is looking for a talented and driven Night Prep Chef to join our flagship rooftop restaurant at 100 Liverpool Street.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Night Prep Chef to develop their skills in a high-end, high-volume kitchen while playing a vital role in preparing the restaurant for successful daily service while working alongside an experienced culinary team within one of London's most innovative restaurant concepts.

The Role – Night Prep Chef

As a Night Prep Chef, you will support the overnight preparation of ingredients and components across the kitchen, ensuring every section is fully prepared for the next day's service while helping the team maintain exceptional standards throughout every shift.

This Night Prep Chef role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in cooking, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine desire to develop within a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs with overnight food preparation
  • Prepare ingredients and components according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain excellent mise en place and organisation throughout the night shift
  • Ensure all kitchen sections are fully prepared for the following day's service
  • Follow strict food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety standards at all times
  • Store, label, and rotate ingredients correctly
  • Monitor stock levels and help minimise food waste
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen during overnight operations
  • Attend training and actively develop your culinary knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong interest in food and a desire to learn
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently during night shifts
