Los Mochis London City is looking for a talented and driven Commis Chef to join our flagship rooftop restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills in a high-end, high-volume kitchen alongside an experienced culinary team in one of London’s most innovative restaurant concepts.

The Role – Commis Chef

As a Commis Chef, you will support the preparation and delivery of dishes across your designated kitchen section, helping the team maintain exceptional standards throughout every service.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in cooking, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to develop within a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs with daily food preparation
  • Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain excellent mise en place and organisation at all times
  • Assist with the smooth running of your designated section during service
  • Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety standards
  • Store, label, and rotate ingredients correctly
  • Monitor stock levels and help minimise food waste
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Attend training and actively develop your culinary knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong interest in food and a desire to learn
