Thesleff Group is looking for an exceptional Head of PR to lead the communications, reputation and media strategy for one of London's most exciting and fast-growing hospitality groups. This is a senior, highly visible role for someone who understands how to build brands, create culturally relevant stories and ensure they reach the right audiences.

As Head of PR, you will take ownership of the Group's PR strategy across our portfolio, working closely with our Marketing Director, senior leadership, operations teams and external agencies to strengthen the positioning of both Thesleff Group and our individual brands. Our portfolio includes Los Mochis Notting Hill, Los Mochis City, Sale e Pepe Knightsbridge, Sale e Pepe Mare, MA/NA Mayfair, Viajante87, LUNA Omakase and JUNO Omakase.

What we offer:

  • Private health insurance
  • 10 fully paid sick days
  • 50% discount across our restaurants for you, your family and friends
  • Genuine opportunities for career development and progression
  • Regular team and company events
  • The opportunity to work across an ambitious, growing portfolio of internationally recognised hospitality brands
  • A creative, entrepreneurial environment where ideas can become reality quickly

The role:

The Head of PR will own and develop the overarching PR and communications strategy for Thesleff Group, ensuring our brands remain visible, relevant and distinctive within an increasingly competitive hospitality and lifestyle landscape. You will:

  • Develop and lead the group-wide PR and communications strategy
  • Shape the external narrative and positioning of Thesleff Group and its individual brands
  • Build and maintain exceptional relationships with journalists, editors, media partners, influencers and other key industry contacts
  • Identify compelling stories across our restaurants, people, chefs, concepts and future developments
  • Secure meaningful, high-quality media coverage rather than simply generating volume
  • Lead communications around launches, major events, collaborations and key Group announcements
  • Oversee press releases, media materials, executive profiles, brand stories and external communications
  • Manage and challenge external PR agencies, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, KPIs and return on investment
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Events and Operations to ensure PR activity supports wider commercial and brand objectives
  • Identify and coordinate strategic partnerships and collaborations with brands that complement our positioning
  • Manage reactive communications and provide senior counsel on reputation and crisis communications
  • Monitor the media landscape, competitor activity and emerging cultural trends
  • Report PR performance, opportunities and reputation insights to senior leadership

The existing brief rightly places significant emphasis on agency management, partnerships and maintaining consistent external messaging; at Head of PR level, we would expect you to set that direction as well as ensure it is delivered.

About you:

We are looking for an established PR leader with an outstanding network and a genuine understanding of premium hospitality, restaurants and lifestyle brands. You will ideally bring:

  • Significant senior-level PR and communications experience within hospitality, luxury, lifestyle or a closely related sector
  • An excellent understanding of the London and UK media landscape. Experience across the US or European media landscape would be a plus, but is not essential
  • Strong existing relationships across hospitality, luxury, fashion, lifestyle, consumer and relevant national media
  • Experience developing PR strategy across multiple brands, concepts or markets
  • A strong understanding of both traditional and digital media, as well as the evolving role of cultural influence in building brands
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a strong eye for what makes a brand culturally relevant and newsworthy
  • Proven experience managing PR agencies, creative partners and other external stakeholders
  • Confidence and credibility when advising founders, executives and senior stakeholders
  • Experience handling sensitive, reactive and crisis communications
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how PR, partnerships and brand communications contribute to awareness, customer acquisition and business growth
  • A proactive, highly networked approach, with the ability to identify and create opportunities rather than simply respond to them
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with a willingness to remain hands-on and get involved in the detail
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality, dining, fashion, culture and lifestyle, with a strong understanding of the audiences and communities shaping these spaces

Most importantly, our Head of PR needs to understand what makes a story genuinely interesting. You will know when to push, when to challenge, when to protect a brand and how to turn what is happening within the business into conversations people actually want to be part of. This is not a role for someone who simply manages a press office. We are looking for a Head of PR who can help shape how Thesleff Group and our brands are perceived as the business continues to grow.

Thesleff Group is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and make employment decisions based on skills, experience and potential, regardless of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
