Combining exceptional seafood, warm Italian hospitality and vibrant Mediterranean energy, Sale e Pepe Mare offers guests an elegant yet relaxed dining experience inspired by Italy's beautiful coastline.

We are seeking an outstanding Waiter / Waitress to join our team.

Initially, the Waiter / Waitress will be based on La Terrazza, our vibrant seasonal outdoor dining destination, before transitioning into the main restaurant later in the year.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Waiter / Waitress who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys building genuine connections with guests and thrives within a premium restaurant environment.

The Role

As Waiter / Waitress, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.

The Waiter / Waitress will provide attentive, knowledgeable and engaging service, ensuring every guest enjoys the warmth, elegance and generous hospitality that defines Sale e Pepe Mare.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, Sommeliers, Bar Team and Kitchen, the Waiter /Waitress will help create a seamless dining experience whilst confidently guiding guests through our menus, wines and seasonal specialities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional table service with confidence, warmth and professionalism.
  • Welcome guests and create a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the food, wine and drinks menus, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Ensure tables are prepared and maintained to the highest standards throughout service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Build genuine rapport with guests whilst anticipating their needs.
  • Support sales through confident menu knowledge and thoughtful upselling.
  • Maintain excellent presentation standards and attention to detail.
  • Follow all food safety, licensing and health & safety procedures.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive front-of-house team.

About You

We are looking for a Waiter / Waitress who

  • Has previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress within a quality restaurant, luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
  • Has a genuine passion for food, wine and outstanding guest service.
  • Is confident, personable and enjoys interacting with guests.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.
  • Has excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Is eager to learn and develop within one of London's leading hospitality groups.
  • Has the right to live and work in the UK.
