Location: London, England

The Opportunity: Engineer Intelligent Power Ecosystems

Theros Labs is a climate technology company fundamentally redefining how energy is generated, used, and integrated into our world. We are seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer to join our mission to design and enable intelligent, self-sustaining power ecosystems embedded directly within infrastructure. You will be instrumental in developing the AI-optimised systems that ensure energy is intelligently generated, managed, and deployed where it matters most, turning static buildings into active, clean power generators.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop the electrical architecture for our integrated renewable energy systems, from cellular optimisation to grid interconnection.

Engineer the systems that allow our AI platform to fine-tune performance, optimise energy use, and create self-evolving systems in real time.

Collaborate with our software and AI teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and our intelligent management platform.

Develop systems for predictive energy management and real-time energy allocation, enhancing system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency for our clients.

Ensure our systems empower buildings and infrastructure to produce their own clean energy.

What You'll Bring:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in power systems design, renewable energy integration, and microgrid development.

Experience with power electronics, inverters, and battery management systems.

Familiarity with IoT devices, sensor integration, and data acquisition for control systems.

An understanding of AI and machine learning applications in energy management is highly desirable.

Who You Are:

An ecosystem engineer who thinks holistically about how energy is generated, managed, and used.

You are driven to create systems that deliver energy without compromise, balancing performance, function, and affordability.

You are excited by the challenge of designing for energy autonomy and breaking free from outdated, centralised grids.

You speak with clarity and conviction, able to translate complex electrical concepts into functional, reliable solutions.
