We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team. As a member of our front‑of‑house service team, you will be responsible for the execution of our hot drinks offering and delivering a world‑class service alongside a highly trained, charismatic team whose collective goal is to deliver excellence to our members.

You will uphold the club’s service standards, produce beautiful and delicious drinks every time, and help build the reputation of The Roof Gardens. We seek a candidate with solid experience, ideally in a similar environment, an impeccable demeanour, excellent customer‑service skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for coffee, food and hospitality are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day coffee operations including welcoming guests warmly, producing drinks with precision and efficiency, restocking the bar, and taking orders and processing payments through the POS system.
  • Maintain high‑quality beverage service and learn guest preferences for a personalised service where possible.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism and high personal standards, and set a positive example for new team members.
  • Collaborate with the wider F&B team to achieve departmental KPIs and contribute creative ideas.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the bar, including equipment and storage areas, and report any issues with maintenance to the line manager.
  • Assist with stocktaking and anticipate supplies for peak demand.
  • Follow procedures for reporting, compliance and inventory management, and comply with security, fire, health & safety and licensing regulations.
Skills & Requirements
  • Accomplished barista skills and passion for craft.
  • Enthusiastic with plenty of energy, able to stay composed under pressure.
  • Understanding of the luxury lifestyle market, private membership clubs or similar hospitality environments, with demonstrable experience in fast‑paced, multi‑outlet businesses.
  • A desire to keep the customer experience firmly in mind while carrying out duties.
  • An eye for detail, with the ability to look ahead and pre‑empt issues or challenges.
  • Excellent communication and great organisational skills.
  • A friendly, characterful demeanour and a genuine pleasure in supporting colleagues to fulfil their potential.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
