The Roof Gardens is a social club in the sky, 100 feet above the streets of Kensington. Close to an acre of private gardens with views across London to the horizon, The Roof Gardens is a new generation members club. A place of escape, bursting with wildflowers, olive and mulberry trees, grassy lawns and hidden nooks. An Art Deco gem created in 1938, The Roof Gardens has a legendary legacy. The Role
We’re seeking a confident and charismatic Head Bartender to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens for the summer season in the Spanish Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you’ll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender in the luxury hospitality market
- Advanced mixology skills and a genuine passion for your craft, with extensive knowledge of premium spirits, and a drive to continuously innovate the drinks offering
- Consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences with a strong commitment to service excellence
- Lead, motivate, and support the bars team, ensuring effective training, clear communication of duties, and high-performance standards
- Take full ownership of the bars, conducting thorough pre- and post-shift checks to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness
- Assist the Bars Manager in completing all necessary administration for the bars team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
