Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Customer Service Administrators and Warehouse Operatives.
- Coordinate and allocate daily workloads in line with operational priorities.
- Manage customer accounts, reporting and administration.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels, including cover for holidays, absences, weekends and bank holidays.
- Plan resources effectively to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
- Generate, check and issue weekly customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor performance and ensure company procedures and customer standards are met.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and non-conformances.
- Implement and monitor corrective actions.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space based on stock movement.
- Support stock control coordination.
- Ensure continuity of service during team absences.
- Act as deputy for the Site Manager when required.
About You
- You are a proactive team leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset with a “can‑do” attitude.
- Organised and able to prioritise effectively.
- IT literate with strong administrative and numerical skills.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution (preferred).
- Ability to implement operational and Health & Safety procedures.
- Comfortable working in a cold store environment.
- Experience in temperature‑controlled logistics is an advantage, but not essential.
