Thermoseal Group is the leading UK manufacturer and distributor of insulated glass consumables to the glazing industry and is part of the Fenzi Group.
Reporting to the Purchasing and Operations Director, the role of the Procurement Coordinator is to take responsibility for purchasing strategy, ordering materials and components, and working with vendors to ensure timely deliveries to the company’s production sites whilst maintaining stock cost control and inventory levels.

Are you the right person for the job:
- A proven track record of procurement and excellent knowledge of Purchasing and Supply processes.
- Self-motivated with great organisational skills.
- A proactive approach, able to solve problems, use your initiative and make decisions when necessary.
- Demonstrable ability to understand and manage an extensive range of SKUs.
- Ability to work collaboratively, building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical strengths to work with sales and manufacturing trends in relation to stock forecasting and purchasing.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Competent in Diversified Sourcing and supply chain risk management.
- A Complete Team player and people person with good communication skills.
- Speak Fluent English.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Able and willing to travel both within the UK and abroad.
- Strong IT skills including Excel as well as Mathematics and English skills are essential.

You will:
- Help manage the entire procurement cycle, researching suppliers, comparing costs, raising purchase orders, supporting negotiations and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensure stock levels are optimised against product sales, production requirements and warehouse capacity.
- Raise purchase orders and validate supplier invoices.
- Provide feedback to the wider business on pricing and changes that need to be incorporated to final product costings.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor the status of orders and resolve any outstanding deliveries and/or invoices.
- Maintain the approved supplier and product database and assist with the risk assessment of suppliers.
- Monitor and assist in maintaining competitive costs by negotiation and resourcing.
- Maintain the companies IT Procurement database.
- Create analysis and forecast reports in order to supply possible procurement trends.
- Cross functional collaboration – partnering with other internal departments to help identify business needs.
- Attend supplier meetings.
