Overview

The Business Development Manager – Data Centers is responsible for driving growth and expanding Thermon's presence within the rapidly growing Data Center market across the UK. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing awareness of Thermon's solutions with key stakeholders involved in the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of data centers. The successful candidate will help position Thermon early in the project lifecycle to support specification-driven opportunities. The role requires a proactive approach, combining business development, relationship management, market intelligence, and technical knowledge to establish Thermon as a trusted partner within the Data Center ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Include:

  • Business Development & Growth: Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase Thermon's presence within the Data Center sector. Identify and qualify new project opportunities and drive engagement with key markets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with data center owners, developers, consultants, engineering firms, EPC contractors, commissioning specialists, and channel partners.
  • Specification Development: Promote Thermon's solutions early in the project lifecycle to support specification-driven opportunities and increase market adoption.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and opportunities within the Data Center sector.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to develop customer-focused solutions.
