Job Overview

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards. Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. Some degree of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.) required. Standing for full shift, tolerance for strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products).

As a Process Operator in a manufacturing setting, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your shifts rotate weekly between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. This role places you in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic team managing all steps of manufacturing and packaging Dehydrated Culture Media products.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekly shift rotation: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

Responsibilities

  • Report unsafe or unethical practices immediately through the appropriate channels.
  • Play an active role within daily departmental meetings.
  • Monitor, track and regularly report to your supervisor/manager on your daily goals.
  • Actively engage in regular performance and development conversations and act on feedback.
  • Understand performance metrics, safety metrics, and practices for your team/department.
  • Update stock management system (SAP) following the completion of allocated tasks.
  • Maintain own training records within the company quality management system (MasterControl).
  • Follow defined processes to build batch manufacturing records, print labels, and use accurate materials and equipment to develop the required product.
  • Show proficiency in reading and math, pay attention to detail, accurately record data, adhere to written guidelines, and operate a computer with e‑mail.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to handle the physical requirements of the position, including lifting several 25‑kg bags of materials.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
