Location/Division Specific Information

Evidera’s Patient-Centered Research (PCR) group combines a unique portfolio of scientific fields, including health sciences, psychometrics, epidemiology, psychology, and other. Our work has helped identify and clarify unmet clinical needs, assess burden of illness and evaluate patient outcomes, preference and/or adherence, while supporting promotional and labeling claims on a global scale. This is a fully remote, home based position.

Position Overview:

Recognized nationally and/or internationally for health preference research, with high external visibility and a strong track record of publications and presentations. Maintains an established line of research and expertise in health preference research, providing senior level mentorship and oversight of junior scientific staff. Has broad responsibility for the overall financial performance of the PCR organization within Evidera and contributes to business and strategic development.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Project Management

• Develops and maintains an individual portfolio.
• Responsible for the quality of client deliverables.
• Ensures efficient use of project team resources and delivery within budget.
• Develops proposals, ensuring scientific integrity and strategic approach.

Science

• Serves as internal consultant and provides oversight on project work, methods, and regulatory issues.
• Maintains high external visibility through publications and presentations.
• Maintains expertise in health preference research.
• Oversees analyses, interprets results, and guides project staff.
• Drives scientific excellence and innovation.

Strategy/Consulting

• Participates in setting scientific direction and goals.
• Provides high-level consultation with regulatory bodies and science boards.
• Develops innovative science strategies and collaborates on projects.

Financial & Business Development

• Responsible for sales targets and client development.
• Manages financial performance of projects and contributes to broader PCR financial health.

Managerial Duties

• Participates in recruitment, especially at senior levels.
• Supervises mid to high-level scientific staff.
• Supports scientific quality and staff development.

Education, Skills & Experience

• PhD with 10+ years or MA with 15+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent in health outcomes and patient-centered research.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, Excel; familiarity with SAS or similar software.
• Leadership in complex projects and cross-unit collaboration.

Personal Skills & Competencies

• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech development, global regulatory requirements, and research principles.
• Excellent communication, critical review, and peer-reviewed publication skills.
• Externally recognized leader in health outcomes and patient-centered research, providing senior client consultation.
