Responsibilities
- Direct and manage commercial opportunities for the Swindon site by understanding client technical requirements, finding appropriate solutions, and communicating internally to identify production costs and prepare quotes.
- Assist with the efficient transfer of products from client sites, ensuring adherence to client requirements and quality standards.
- Management of assigned customer accounts for the swindon site, to include both daily and strategics activities.
- Collaborate with European Business Development to manage new business opportunities, assist with strategy, plan current and new projects, negotiate new orders, define prices, and finalize commercial opportunities.
- Ensure that technical business projects for the Swindon site are managed effectively, meeting required deadlines and achievements.
- Coordinate the budgeting process and forecast potential revenues based on project schedules.
- Resolve critical contractual issues related to cost, quality, and delivery of products to completion while protecting Patheon’s interests and image.
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
- Lead and communicate effectively with teams in line with GMP requirements and company policies.
- Ensure staff succession, training, and development programs are in place to support achieving objectives.
- Align with GMP requirements and company policies.

- Understand emergency procedures and align with safe systems of work.
- Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety, and security policies.
- Report and investigate all accidents, near misses, and breaches of rules promptly.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Degree in Business, scientific fields, or Economics is preffereable.
- 5-10 years of experience in a business management role or key account management.
- Experience as a program manager or portfolio manager.
- Proven success working alongside clients in a commercial, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in client management, sales, or marketing and in developing long-term business relationships.
- Experience in Project Management and Technology Transfer of pharmaceutical products is desirable but not essential.
