We are seeking a dynamic Operations Strategy Lead to support the development of high-quality clinical trial proposals. In this role, you will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of operational strategies that respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from our biopharma clients. Your work will directly contribute to increasing our win rate and supporting business growth across key therapeutic areas. This role will support our IRCCD team (Infectious and Respiratory and Critical Care Disease) with a focus in the Respiratory area including COPD, Asthma, IPF, PH ILD. This is available in the EMEA region (please see separate advert for North America and LATAM regions). A day in the life: Lead the operational strategy component for assigned clinical trial proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and internal capabilities. Collaborate with Therapeutic Unit representatives, feasibility teams, clinical operations, and finance to develop competitive, feasible study delivery plans. Participate in proposal kickoff meetings to gather client requirements and ensure strategic considerations are integrated throughout the proposal process. Translate the commercial win strategy into a clear operational approach, identifying delivery assumptions, risks, and mitigation strategies. Manage timelines and deliverables for the operational sections of proposals, coordinating input from cross-functional teams. Contribute to bid defense preparations, including development of key operational messages and supporting materials. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members involved in proposal delivery. Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of operational strategy processes and tools. Qualifications: Bachelor\’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research or clinical trial operations, with at least 2 years in proposal strategy, feasibility, or project management. Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle, operational planning, and proposal development. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Previous experience supporting RFPs, bid defenses, or business development activities. Familiarity with multiple therapeutic areas and global clinical operations.
