This full-time, on-site Waterjet Operator Technician role is located in Congleton. The primary responsibilities include operating waterjet cutting machines to create precision-made thermoplastic markings, ensuring the accuracy of cuts, and maintaining a high standard of quality. Additional tasks include conducting regular equipment checks and maintenance, preparing workpieces for cutting, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines. The role also involves maintaining a safe and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations. You will use the very latest in ERP software to follow the product flow through production ensuring all quality steps are met.
Qualifications
- Experience with operating and maintaining waterjet cutting machines or similar equipment
- Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and measurements for precise cutting
- Attention to detail and quality assurance to ensure high standards of output
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance and problem-solving
- Commitment to safety protocols and workplace organisation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
