Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Salesperson/Business Development Specialist, based in London. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for promoting Thermit/Goldschmidt line of products and services, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and generating leads. Other day-to-day responsibilities include taking ownership and delivering the agreed sales budget and forecast, increasing company sales and profitability, and initiating and continuing relationships with customers via calls and face-to-face meetings. Assist in other ad-hoc duties for the need of the business when possible.

Qualifications

  • A degree qualification or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a consultative and honest approach to securing sales of technical products and services.

Skillset

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • Background in the Railway industry is desirable but not essential.
