The role will join an existing team, reporting to the Head of Food and Wellbeing for Therme RPC. The key responsibility will be to act as a subject expert in wellbeing, primarily within thermal therapies, bathing, spa treatments, longevity and nutrition for the Therme Manchester resort and other UK projects as required. The role will deliver expert research and recommendation into the wellbeing proposition of Therme UK, evolving and supporting existing wellbeing strategies. The role will work in close partnership with the existing team to support nutrition responsibilities and strategy. This role is public facing with the successful candidate expected to present and participate in industry events and conferences, nationally and internationally.
Specific Accountabilities
- Act as a subject expert in wellbeing for projects across Therme RPC primarily within thermal therapies, bathing, spa treatments and longevity across Therme UK.
- Develop and deliver research, reports and practical recommendations across wellbeing, focussing on the commercial opportunities and benefits as well as the value proposition.
- Deliver expert research and recommendation into the wellbeing proposition of Therme UK, evolving and supporting existing wellbeing strategies.
- Build partners and relationships across existing and prospective wellbeing and nutrition suppliers and partners.
- Present the Therme RPC wellbeing vision at relevant internal and external events.
- Help position Therme RPC as a leader in the nutrition and wellbeing industry.
- Generate innovative wellbeing concepts and stay abreast of wellbeing trends across the industry, keeping Therme RPC colleagues informed and up to date.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience and/or expertise in spa, thermal bathing, longevity and nutrition-based wellbeing.
- Commercially minded with the ability to link strategy to revenue and brand value.
- Experience in project mobilisation within hospitality, spa or resort environments.
- Strong research, analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex wellbeing insights into clear, market-ready propositions.
