We are looking for a full time
Working Site Supervisor to join our growing team.
As a
Site Supervisor , you are a member of the Engineering Operations team.
The Operations team’s main aim is to deliver agreed services to our customers to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, while maintaining effective control across all cost lines.
You will support this purpose by ensuring that all onsite practices and processes are consistently followed across your team of engineers.
Your fundamental responsibility is to maintain the quality, safety and compliance of the day-to-day work delivered onsite.
You will act as an important link between the client, the office-based Operations team and site-based engineers, resolving issues where appropriate and escalating concerns when necessary.

Hours & Location of Work
- Main location
- this is a static role based at a site in Central London.
- Regular hours of work
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week.
Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Technical knowledge of the relevant engineering discipline (e. g. Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration or Gas).
- Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and minor works within a Facilities Management environment.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including risk assessment and safe systems of work.
- Understanding of relevant Building Regulations, British Standards and statutory compliance requirements applicable to the trade.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and engineering compliance requirements.
- Understanding of customer service principles and service level agreements (SLAs/KPIs).
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems and mobile engineering platforms.
- Understanding of basic people management principles, including performance management, coaching and wellbeing.
Desirable
- Vocational training courses relating to skillset or supervisory skills
- Previous exposure to skill set sector in a supervisory capacity
- Fgas Cat 1
- Sound building servicesknowledge and experience
- Willing to be flexible for ourclientsneeds
- Keen eye for detail
- Broader understanding of multiple engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of contract management principles within FM.
- Understanding of commercial performance, budgets and cost control.
- Familiarity with ISO management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Understanding of engineering compliance auditing.
- Relevant experienced in manned site operations
Responsibilities include
- Ensure the results of verification processes are accurately recorded on theappropriate certificatesor inspection reports
- Assess work allocation across the team to ensure engineers are working efficiently and effectively
- Manage the appropriate allocationand escalation ofadditionalonsite services, ensuring jobs areallocatedto in-house teams or third-party providers where necessary
- Manage the effective use of the CAFM system, ensuring job information, updates, completiondetailsand supporting records areaccurateandmaintainedin a timely manner
- Support clientuseand utilisation of the CAFM system, providingappropriate guidanceand helping to resolve or escalation system-related queries
- Undertake supervisory duties for employed persons, ensuring they are competent and adequately supervised
- Maintainappropriate knowledge, experience and understanding of the design, construction and maintenance of air conditioning, mechanical and electrical plant, together with relevant verification, inspectionand testing procedures for systems onsite
- Coach and support the team to deliver the best possible service, identifyingsolutions and opportunities for improvement where necessary
- Ensure quality standards are consistently upheld and that any concerns or deficiencies are addressed promptly
