We are looking for an Electrical Technical Estimator to join the Technical Team at Thermatic Technical FM. As a Technical Estimator, you will be a member of the Minor Works Team. The Minor Works Team's main aim is to deliver agreed services to our clients with the utmost standard and efficiency, whilst maintaining and delivering all cost lines. You will support this purpose by providing quotations for minor works whilst offering support and guidance to manage contracts, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently and driving continuous improvement.

Hours & Location of Work:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility. Based in our Head Office in Salford, Manchester.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Electrical Basic Technical/Building Services Knowledge

Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with electrical remedial and project quotations
- Engage and communicate technical changes to your team
- Ensure technical compliance across your contracts
- Support with responses to questions and requests for information – internally and/or externally
- Deliver quotes for works through existing Engineering & Technical team to facilitate delivery and completion of Minor Works throughout TTFM
- Review WIP reports across client base to identify and produce quotes for our customers on electrical & HVAC work
- Work alongside our Projects department delivering smaller scale works and supporting on bigger projects when needed
- Drive operational delivery throughout the team, holding them accountable
- Identify opportunities with processes, providing solutions to drive continuous improvements
- Confirm booking of works with customer prior to the work being undertaken
- Work with account teams to manage all jobs through the entire process from logging of the job to invoicing
- Work alongside compliance & HSE managers to deliver centralized solutions of equal quality across all sectors ensuring quality is maintained
- Seasonal workload identification and assisting with resource with TSC
- Ensure current supply chain are fit for purpose to maximise efficiency on return jobs
- Identify failure points on client sites and proactively produce quotations for such
- Review all reactive calls across the business to identify patterns (seasonal or equipment) and record failures on reports
- Commercial awareness of operational impact and the measures that can be taken to improve
- Responsible for the required margin on all quoted works
- Awareness of gross profit and driving efficiencies, and how to impact improvement
- Review mitigation report to understand why jobs are not profitable, identifying opportunities and managing improvements
- Develop and maintain client relationships; past, current, and future
- Gain in-depth understanding of customer needs and expectations
- Follow up on quotes, PPM & reactive work to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
