We are looking for a full time Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team of service engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial clients across London and surrounding areas. This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence.

This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance. Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients.

Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.

On Call - this role includes a 24 hour on call rota on a maximum 1 week in 4 schedule (Friday-Thursday).

Experience working on a range of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration equipment including VRVs, VRFs, Splits and Chillers. NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Equipment. Working knowledge of Building Regulations. Building Environmental and Electrical Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning within the building services industry. Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activities. Basic plumbing and building material skills/knowledge. Asbestos Awareness. IPAF & PASMA. Part P Electrical certificate.

Undertaking all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration installation, commission, and maintenance including the service and repair of VRVs, VRFs, Splits, and Chillers. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with Thermatic’s PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and task schedules as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team. Carrying out basic facilities maintenance tasks as required. Supporting team members including acting as second-man where required. Participating in a 24 hour call out rota. Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired timeframe. Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representatives and customers of our clients. Assisting office-based staff with producing quotations by providing accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified. Supporting the training and upskilling of junior service engineers.
