We are looking for a full time Lining / Patch Lining Drainage Engineer to join our growing team of drainage engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other engineers across many of our commercial client sites across the North West, North Wales and the Midlands. This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence. This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and where required reactive maintenance.
Role requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have previous drainage experience and will be familiar with carrying out rehabilitation works to sewer networks.
- They will have knowledge of using pushrod cameras and crawler camera systems, have knowledge of patch lining and full-length lining installations as well as confidently using robotic cutting and mechanical cutting machines.
- Ideally you will hold the relevant competencies, but where training gaps are evident or where refresher courses are needed, we will offer full support and training will be provided.

Hours & Location of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm - 42.5 hour working week.
- Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients sometimes require "out of hours" work and early starts/late finishes and weekend working are to be expected.
- Main location - this is a fully mobile role covering the North West, North Wales and the Midlands.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years’ drainage experience in rehabilitation works
- Working knowledge of drainage systems
- Confident problem solver
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations
Desirable:
- Manual handling
- First Aid
- Confined Space entry certified
- Asbestos Awareness Certified
- CSCS Card
- Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems
Responsibilities include:
- Working on commercial and industrial sites carrying out rehabilitation works on drainage systems.
- Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes
- Supporting drainage and contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired time frame
- Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representatives and customers of our clients
- Escalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframes
