Experienced Firestopping Sales Estimator, Leeds , great salary + benefits

TECL have been one of the UK\’s leading fire protection companies since 2009 and we are ambitious to cement our place by winning more government work via online tendering systems. From our head office in Leeds we cover a national territory and have successfully completed significant projects throughout our years in this industry. We currently employ in excess of 70 team members and we are hoping that adding framework deal to our already strong order book we can increase our numbers and revenue.

The successful candidate must have experience within estimating all ranges of firestopping works including intumescent/steel encasement/passive fire protection and the wider construction.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Liaising with a team to deliver proposals and determine the needs of the potential client.

· Taking ownership from tender to securing the project.

· Estimating costs, timescales, and resources for potential projects, ensuring pricing accuracy and alignment with client expectations

· A wide understanding of how to use Excel, specifically spreadsheets.

· Understanding of the continually changing products/details of a wide range of passive fire manufacturers (Rockwool/Quelfire/Protecta/ TBA Firefly… etc)

Ideal Candidate

· ideally have at least 2 years\’ experience within a similar role.

· Must be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

· Strong commercial skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
