The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a clinic setting. The PT will work with other clinical staff to provide quality care for patients in a safe and professional manner. The PT will also be responsible for developing and implementing a physical therapy plan of care for patients based on their individualized assessment. The ideal candidate will have a background in or an interest in post-acute rehabilitation, geriatric care, or a physical therapy program of study.
Essential Functions
- Provide direct patient care by administering therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
- Administer therapeutic treatments to patients under the direction of the Physician.
- Collect and record patient medical and clinical data.
- Perform physical examinations on selected populations of patients.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
- Provide quality patient care by following established protocols, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Maintain accurate records by accurately recording patient medical and clinical data.
- Work cooperatively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited APTA program for Physical Therapy.
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- Holds a current license as a Physical Therapist issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Experience with the pediatric population.
- Self-motivated, hardworking.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team-based atmosphere.
- Motivated to meet productivity targets and contribute to company growth.
- Solid work history and consistent attendance.
- Ability to effectively & professionally communicate verbally and in documentation.
- Experience with or desire to learn Telehealth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
