About The Role: The Therabody mobile app connects to Therabody devices via Bluetooth, provides guided routines, advanced controls, and most recently offers AI-generated recovery recommendations and wearables integration to maximize customers’ efficacy and usage of Therabody products. As the Sr Product Manager, you will drive app engagement by owning and executing the roadmap for the Therabody app experience at the cross section of software, hardware, firmware and AI. You will partner closely with stakeholders in UX/UI design, software and firmware engineering, marketing, and sales to launch features and content that align with company objectives and key results. You will obsess over getting the customer experience right, and ensure that hypothesis-driven A/B testing, alongside app analytics, is used to validate success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own a prioritized mobile app roadmap and backlog, aligning multiple concurrent initiatives with overall business strategy and influencing objectives at the leadership level.
  • Own the complete execution and launch of complex, cross-functional app features end-to-end, from strategy and inception through delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead collaboration with UX/UI designers to craft intuitive mobile experiences, and set the research and user testing agenda to validate direction.
  • Partner with Product Development to define digital features that complement our physical products, shaping firmware requirements and informing hardware/software integration decisions.
  • Write and refine user stories with engineering teams, drive backlog grooming, and own User Acceptance Testing to ensure features deploy to specification.
  • Partner with design, marketing, and engineering teams to generate hypotheses for product enhancements, develop go-to-market launch plans, and measure key results.
  • Champion agile principles and scrum best practices across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Obsess over key performance indicators (KPIs) for mobile, such as engagement and conversion, to ensure the app exceeds business goals, and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of mobile trends at the intersection of iOS, Android, and generative AI and ML models.

About You:

  • 5-7 years in Product Management experience with a focus on mobile applications that have hardware counterparts (iOS and Android).
  • Proven track record of delivering successful mobile products or features.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile app ecosystem, app store dynamics, and mobile analytics tools (e.g. Firebase, Fullstory, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with Bluetooth-enabled hardware, firmware, and app interactions.
  • Strong grasp of UX principles, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making.
  • Comfortable working with content management systems such as Contentful.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to influence across functional teams and executive level.
  • Bonus: Experience working with generative AI prompting and models such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini and experience using AWS Bedrock.
