Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Packaging Artworker to join us for six months and support a significant update to our European packaging portfolio in line with upcoming updates to EU packaging regulations.
This is a hands‑on packaging artwork and production role. You’ll work from requirements provided by our Product, Legal and Compliance teams to update packaging artwork for each impacted SKU and create new packaging variants where required.
You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, consistent and production-ready artwork across the affected portfolio, while maintaining our established packaging design system and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Update packaging artwork across our portfolio of affected UK and EU products, including creating separate packaging variants where existing SKUs are being split.
- Update packaging to accurately reflect changes to products, including battery configuration and other physical product differences.
- Incorporate regulatory requirements provided by our Legal, Regulatory and Compliance teams, including updates to copy, symbols, labels, QR codes and other required information.
- Update product imagery, diagrams, specifications, model information, barcodes and other SKU-specific content as required
- Adapt existing packaging designs and dielines while maintaining our established visual identity and packaging system.
- Create artwork across multiple products, packaging formats, territories and language variants.
- Prepare technically accurate, print‑ready production artwork and packaged source files
- Work closely with Product, Legal/Compliance and Operations to incorporate feedback and revisions.
- Support artwork proofing and final quality checks before files are released to packaging suppliers.
- Maintain rigorous version control, file naming and organisation across a large number of closely related artwork files.
- Flag inconsistencies, missing information or cases where requirements cannot be accommodated within the existing artwork and elevate them to the appropriate internal team.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience as a Packaging Artworker, Packaging Designer, Production Designer or similar.
- Significant experience producing packaging artwork for physical consumer products, ideally consumer electronics, hardware or other regulated products.
- Experience delivering large- scale packaging artwork updates across multiple SKUs, markets or product variants, ideally in response to regulatory, product or localisation changes.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and In Design, with strong working knowledge of the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of packaging artwork production, including dielines, prepress, print specifications, bleeds, finishes and production‑ready file preparation.
- Experience taking established packaging designs and efficiently adapting them across multiple SKUs, product variants or territories.
- Comfortable working across a high volume of related artwork files while maintaining exceptional accuracy and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with technical product information, regulatory copy, symbols, barcodes and closely related SKU variants.
- Ability to interpret a defined set of product and regulatory requirements and translate them accurately into packaging artwork.
- Strong understanding of file management, version control and artwork approval workflows.
- Comfortable working independently and moving quickly through a large volume of artwork updates.
- Able to collaborate effectively with designers as well as non-design stakeholders across Product, Compliance and Operations
