About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to become a Job Coach across our supported employment services and social enterprises. This is an exciting and varied role that involves training and supporting people with a learning disability in developing skills and providing in-work support.
You will work with Social Enterprise supervisors and Supported Employment Advisors in our services to provide ad hoc support and feedback using a strong person-centred approach. You must have the ability to adapt to working with a variety of candidates in a workplace setting or with travel training or employability skills support.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting people with a learning disability and the ability to teach skills and increase independence. A strong person-centred approach and the ability to work with a wide range of people within the workplace is essential. Commitment to supporting young people to gain and sustain employment is also required.
