Thera trust is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis.
About The Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will assist with the preparation of the management accounts within a timely manner each month, preparing reconciliations and processing the necessary journals as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with preparation of the management accounts, including initial review of variances, assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Prepare schedule for accruals and prepayments of income and expenses and post into accounting system
- Import payroll and expenses plus other journals into the accounting system
- Post any other journals required to prepare the management accounts
- Preparing fixed asset schedule and balance sheet reconciliations
- Regularly review debtor balances ensuring all old debt is allocated to the appropriate person in Sales Ledger

Your Skills and Experience
- Ideally working towards at least AAT qualification
- Be confident working under tight deadlines
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Nominal Ledger experience to trial balance level
- Experience of working in a non for profit or similar environment preferred

- Inquisitive and growth mindset, committed to process improvements
