Thera North has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Manager to join our outstanding charity and senior management team on a full‑time, fixed permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- The Successful Candidate will lead and manage several Support Managers and the teams they oversee.
- They will work as part of the Senior Management Team, maintain outstanding quality of support, and help develop further opportunities to provide support for more people.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to obtain it.
- Previous experience in providing supported living and community support for people with learning disability and complex needs in a management role.
- Knowledge of the CQC regulatory framework and ability to ensure compliance with the relevant Care Quality Commission Essential Standards.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage diverse teams by example.
- Strong computer literacy and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Passion for ensuring people with learning disabilities are at the forefront of designing their own support.
- Ability to manage time, prioritise work effectively, and maintain focus when faced with competing demands.
- Commitment to evaluating and managing the compliance of quality assurance systems, including audits and reviews.
