Thera East has an exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team based in Kessingland, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis, with full-time and part-time hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of Β£13.00 per hour.

Additional Information: Full UK or European driving licence is essential; this post is mainly for weekends and holidays.

About the Support Worker role: At Thera East every day is different. We go to work knowing that this is a chance to make incredible things happen for the people we support. As a Relief Support Worker position allows you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you and is ideal for fitting around prior commitments whether that is studying or other responsibilities.

You will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will help create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions. The support you provide will change with everyone you work with because everyone is different. We are currently recruiting in Kessingland.

Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and could include helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests and travel. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.
