Thera East has an exciting opportunity available for a Female Support Worker to join our team based in Southend on Sea, Essex. You will join us on a permanent basis with part time and relief hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.30 per hour.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our inclusive team, supporting an individual with complex needs. As a valued member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while helping to create innovative ways to support the individual in achieving their personal goals, aims, and ambitions.

The Female Support Worker role:

This role can be fun and highly rewarding, but it can also be challenging and demanding at times. Due to the complexity of the individual's needs, we are looking for applicants who have a solid background in the care sector or significant personal experience supporting individuals with complex requirements. This ensures you are able to provide consistent, safe, and responsive care tailored to their unique needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times. This is a role that offers regular monthly salary and job security, alongside the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact.Supporting someone in their daily life is varied and may include helping them develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, assisting with managing their home, and supporting them with leisure activities, employment opportunities, individual interests, and travel.You may be supporting the individual in their own home or out in the community.

  • Previous experience is ESSENTIAL. Free Skills for Care endorsed full training will also be provided
