At theprintspace, we are the world leaders in fine art and photographic printing, bridging the gap between artistic vision and premium presentation. With studios in London, Düsseldorf, and New York, we serve top-tier artists and institutions who expect the best—and they expect it on a timeline. We are looking for a Fine Art Framer or mounter to join our Shoreditch studio who understands that precision, consistency, and speed are not mutually exclusive.
You’ll be handling high-volume projects, specializing in dry mounting and standardized framing outputs, ensuring that our gallery-quality output is maintained even during our busiest production cycles.
- High-Volume Production: Executing consistent, high-quality dry mounting as a core part of our workflow (Training provided).
- Cutting and preparing mouldings, mountboards, glass, and backing materials with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Utilizing CNC cutting tools and production software to manage jobs, track SLAs, and ensure every piece meets our rigid quality controls (Training provided).
Quality Assurance: Maintaining a meticulous eye for cleanliness, alignment, and finish before final sign-off. Working in sync with our mounting, printing, and dispatch teams to maintain steady production output.
- Production Experience: Proven experience in high-output framing environments or dry mounting experience.
- Efficiency: You understand the rhythm of a workshop and know how to maintain consistent, top-tier results under pressure. Confident and safe using underpinners, saws, and Valiani automated mount cutters. Experience with CNC machinery is a significant plus.
- Digital Fluency: Comfortable using production software to log work and manage high-volume throughput.
- Ownership: You take total responsibility for your station and the quality of the output, ensuring no frame leaves the studio without meeting our standards.
High-Impact Work: You’ll see a high volume of exceptional art and photography move through the studio daily.
Efficiency over Exhaustion: We value standardised processes that allow you to work quickly and cleanly without the "guesswork" of bespoke projects.
Stable Environment: Join a collaborative, professional team that operates like a modern production house rather than a traditional workshop. We offer a profit-share scheme that scales with your service—the longer you grow with us, the deeper your stake in our collective success.
