Your role will focus on working with talented, highly followed artists and implementing a range of strategies for them, from launching drops to running pop-up experiences to putting artists together to create collaborations that drive engagement to new heights.

First and foremost, you should have business development skills. Ideally, you should have a strong knowledge of social media, behavioral science, and the art industry. You might not have all of those things, and we can teach you, but above all else, you need to have a very strong desire to lead the once-in-a-generation disruptive change that the industry is experiencing right now. It is so disruptive, we find that most artists are completely unaware it is even happening! And your job is to show them it is, and to help them join this change.

You would be part of an organisation that stands alone as a leading online platform for art sales, celebrated for its commitment to quality, innovation, and the fostering of connections between artists and a global audience. We have production facilities in Dusseldorf, Shoreditch and DUMBO, Brooklyn. This role is either fully remote, or hybrid at our Shoreditch offices. Most of the existing artist management team is London based, but being based elsewhere is no issue. We care about talent and drive, not where you live. Our team is has close communication via Slack, and we have strong working relationships.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Bringing new sellers on board by reaching out and developing relationships with artists who demonstrate strong social media engagement
  • Identifying great artists to work with by using our proprietary in-house system for tracking social media engagement
  • Overseeing your own dedicated and experienced account handling team to create memorable online shopping experiences, fostering customer engagement, sharing insights on artworks, and catering to client needs to drive sales
  • Cultivating and maintain long-term relationships with artists, providing them with advice on how to leverage digital and social media marketing strategies to increase their engagement, revenue and conversion rates
  • Curating and managing online and offline sales events, including virtual art showings and artist showcases, to engage clients and introduce them to new pieces that enrich their lives

What we\’re looking for:

  • Business development experience and skills
  • Proven experience in e-commerce or social media marketing
  • A track record of taking responsibility for meeting sales/ revenue targets
  • Ambition and drive, with a history of meeting personal sales goals
  • A welcoming, confident, and outgoing personality
  • Ideally an intuitive understanding of whether an artwork has a wide potential market
  • A strong passion for art is essential

What we\’ll offer you:

  • A competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential including a lucrative commission structure
  • Being part of a team with a dedication to the mission and excellence in social commerce
  • Career growth; we are widely recognised as the leading innovator in our field
  • Comprehensive ongoing training from our industry-leading social commerce team
  • Remote working with flexible working hours where appropriate to accommodate the dynamic nature of online sales events, including weekends and occasional evenings. A significant proportion of our clients are US based so evening meetings will be required

We are deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within our team, valuing the strength that comes from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and identities. We strive for fairness and respect in all aspects of our recruitment and employment practices.

If you are passionate about business development, transforming the art industry, making amazing engaging art accessible and growing artists\’ careers then we invite you to join our journey.
