The Priory Learning Trust (Somerset Business Award winner for Employer of the Year) is looking to recruit an Attendance & Student Services Assistant to work at our Worle Community School – An Academy site in Weston-super-Mare, a five minute drive from the M5 junction, 2.9 miles from the beach, and with strong public transport links. This is a non-teaching role focussed on supporting students, staff and families on improving student attendance across the academy.

What you will do to be successful here:
- Working within the general direction of the Attendance Officer/Student Services Manager, undertake a specific range of administrative duties which support the school in an effective and positive manner.
- Provide comprehensive student services support throughout the day, alongside a variety of administrative tasks for attendance.
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience of working in a school or a similar environment.
- Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
- Ability to manage own time effectively.
